      • Treats that are very digestible. Rawhides, stck treats, many natural bones, and anything that has the potential to shed sharp pieces causing choking possibilities. We recommend the old fashion treats like milkbone and denta-treats or even meaty bone treats. These cannot cause blockages that are not already formed.

Daycare

  • How long is a full day of daycare?    All daycare is considered a full day. This is need based. We are booked in that department daily. We cannot shift clients who need us all day.

  • Is there a minimum daycare attendance requirement?    All American Pet Resort does not have a minimum requirement; however, we do recommend that you come at 2-3 times per week for the sake of your dog. Attending daycare is a social skill which the dogs need to practice. Dogs who attend only occasionally usually don't enjoy daycare as much.

  • What happens if I book a day and don't show up? If you schedule a day and don't show up you will be charged for the same. (Starting 6.1.2017)

  • What happens if I am late to pick up my dog? Depending on how late...15 minutes is the grace period for everything. If the grace period has passed....

Late fees are as follows:

  • Monday - Sunday: Late pick up fee is greater than the day of daycare or the night spent here. Overnight Boarding is $60 if picked up by 12pm or 2pm on Sundays, arranging a late pick-up is $65 TOTAL. ($5 MORE). We are

  • Monday-Sunday: If you have not picked up your dog by 7:15pm M-Sun your dog may still be picked up. Please make arrangements with our desk during business hours and we will gladly schedule a time until 10 pm at the $35 late pick up charge.

  • Are there specific drop off and pick up times

Daycare check in begins at 5AM and ends at 7PM unless otherwise appointed.

  • What are the holiday hours? We do not have office hours on the holidays; we have 20 cameras for your peace of mind that are on 24 hrs and have no restrictions or passwords.

  • Are there nap times during the day? A dog has a usual regiment of 22 sleep periods per day according to Merck Veterinary Manual; most dogs will take a break on their own. For the reason dogs can wake grouchy, because of this potential threat to your your dog we separate them for part of the day, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you.

  • Should I bring anything besides my dog?

We recommend that you do not bring any toys or rawhides with your dog as they may cause some  possessiveness problems & because many toys will most likely not make it through the day. If your dog  has special treats due to a medical reason, you may bring them. You should bring your dog in/out on a  leash. Always either scan and send your records using our booking form. After you use it once, it  becomes easier.
