No Hidden Charges - How We Fairly account for your money! We do not charge "All-Inclusive" - We charge per the needs of your pet. While we always make every attempt to call or prewarn before adding costs to your bill there are times we must. The added Kennel Bath you usually get after 3-4 nights depending on the wiff we get the night preceding their departure. Any and All Costs related to assuring the delivery of your pet as you dropped them off, while not always possible; this is our intent. Your Pets' Files - What we Need and why - A few vets have created privacy policies which don't exist in this state but who are we to argue. Because some vets do not give out very necessary info, even in times of no options, we ask you sign a release of records and/or send your pets' files as stated above.
Why the 1/2 day charge - We have BEEN the one of very few kennels to have ALWAYS had staff on Premises or actively working; Actively working since 2004. The half day rate was a reduction from paying first and last day rate over a decade ago. We ask you understand the half day is the equivalent funds to having a 24-hr Staff you can see on camera wherever and whenever.
The Camera Philsophy - A Double Edged Sword

ANSWER: Yes. We can do that in ALL cases. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: A half-decade before we opened the doors of the location in Royal Oak we were were live online. RABIES - A State & County mandate when your pets come in after there second cycle of puppy shots. We can board them ALWAYS if the veterinarian approves.

DISTEMPER - A yearly vaccine once your puppy reaches adulthood that is administered to immunize your dog against (D)distemper, (H)hepatitis, (L) leptospirosis, (P)parainfluenza and (P)parvovirus.

BORDETELLA - "In a boarding kennel, kennel cough is one of the most common contagious diseases you face, so vaccination is important to the dogs in your care. For dogs visiting a groomer, it is more debatable as the risk is slightly less. The vaccine is a live virus and can cause a mild form of the disease, so there are reasons to discuss the pros and cons of the vaccine for your dog with your vet. Yes, the vaccine recommendations have gotten complex in recent years, and the only answer is to find a vet that you trust and follow their recommendations. Why no half days - What do you Offer? Many Facilities Offer 1/2-day daycare rates. We would offer this to our clients if we were not as busy as we are. This is a matter of fact and is directky correlational to the standards we adhere to as we determine them. Many clients do get a 1/2-day rate. They schedule their grooming with one of our fine groomers and this accomplishes 2 things for our clients; first your pet gets a full AM sesssion of daycare & second, your pet receives the styling you desire. Daycvare is charged at a half day when you attach grooming.
The Necessity to Prepare & How Best to Do It - There is plenty to talk on this topic. First, why prepare? Every dog is different and every dog will either adjust in a few days, will not need to adjust, or will be innocuous in our attempts in adjusting your pet to our standards.
